BackslideTony
Treasury Board president Tony Clement recently gave a speech in a Toronto parking lot (May 14, 2011) on the need for transparency in gasoline pricing. He called for a committee to look into price fluctuations.
Back in 2006, the famously likable Mr. Clement headed north to Muskoka to get elected after losing in his home town of Brampton, which is near Toronto - his previous standing as a provincial cabinet minister helping him not the slightest. Finally, immigrants are turning Conservative-friendly, and Tony can show his face in the neighbourhood. Welcome (nearly) back Tony.
